Writing books is pretty solo stuff.  Most of the time it is just me and the computer and a couple of birds singing out of tune outside the window.  So I do sport to keep me sane.  Any kind of sport, anywhere - beach volleyball in Hawaii, skiing in Austria, circus trapeze in Noumea.

Who said writing is a tough life???
